Yep - puppy's first Christmas, although you wouldn't have known it to watch him. He behaved shockingly well. Only took an ornament or two off the three, and never bothered the presents under it. He knew exactly how to open the gifts given to him and went at it with gusto. (we decided we needed to wrap his toys once in a while just because he's so fun to watch.)
Snoopy 'gave' me a Christmas eve present - the CD of The Royal Guardsmen, Snoopy vs the Red Baron and Snoopy and his Friends. I have this on a RECORD, if you want to know how old it is. I put it in to play after I opened it, and on the opening notes, Snoopy, who was sound asleep, jumped up and started barking. We laughed. A minute later, I realized that every one of us was singing along with the CD. Mom was in the kitchen, Erin was on her computer, dad was looking at some magazine, and Andrew was sitting there watching us like we were nuts, but he would be polite and pretend not to notice. This is apparently an old family tradition, it's just not Christmas without that song! I'm glad to finally have it on CD - I had a cassette tape version of it, too, and no easy way to play it!

That's awesome. Not sure I could do it, though - although I don't spend that much in the first place. Clothes and jewelry have been my biggest expenses this past year, and only for the second half of the year. I have a hard enough time finding clothes that fit that are new - hate to think of the difficulties looking in used clothing . . .

Apparently Dad (and I suppose a reluctant Mom) went to LAZBoy and bought two recliners, which arrived this afternoon.
Yeah, thanks for the heads up! I wouldn't have minded going to look. I'd like to have a chair in my room, I just need to figure out how to FIT one.

A webcomic I just discovered. It's been running for 7 years! Pretty fun.
